Corporate Contracts Paralegal

Principle Auto is looking for an outgoing and highly skilled Paralegal to join our corporate team! As our paralegal you will work in a dynamic environment where you will be the go-to person on multiple projects. You value the opportunity to work on complex, dynamic issues. You have a strong attention to detail, and are often looked to be the final review to catch things others may have overlooked. Who Your Customers Are and How This Role Delivers Value to Them 

Your external customers are our clients, prospects and business community members. Your internal customers will be Principle Auto associates, our vendors and contractors. You'll provide value by treating all customers with the highest sense of integrity, honesty and respect. You will work directly with the following team members to ensure their success:

  • Principle Auto CEO: Our Chief Executive Officer is an engaged and detail oriented leader, who provides the overall strategic vision for the company. The Corporate Paralegal will work with our CEO to review contracts, vendor agreements and other filings and records as needed. The Paralegal will excel in this role by proactively looking for areas of concern to bring to the CEO's attention.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Paralegal

  • Drafting, filing and follow up for all company legal correspondence
  • Reviewing vendor agreements to highlight areas of concern
  • Creating documents related to new entity formations
  • Work on all compliance reports and forms
  • Research all applicable laws, regulations and policies as they relate to Principle Auto's on-going business interests
  • Work with external counsel to coordinate administrative filings and records
  • Draft all documents related to pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Create, organize and maintain all legal documents and filings for subsidiaries and related companies
  • Working closely with all members of the Leadership Team and management to coordinate departmental and corporate wide agreements.

Requirements of the Corporate Paralegal:

  • 7+ Years of paralegal experience
  • 7+ years of progressive legal research and research methods
  • Previous legal experience within the automotive industry a plus but not required
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid state of residence driver's license
  • Required to pass a drug test and background check

Physical/Mental/Emotional Demands:

Works indoors and outdoors and can be exposed to environments of inclement weather, heat, and cold.  Position requires the ability to walk and stand for long periods.  It may be necessary to work overtime (in excess of 40 hours per week) in order to complete assigned tasks or accomplish Company goals.  Requires full range of body motion including walking, climbing, lifting and reaching on a regular basis.  Requires corrected vision and finger dexterity in order to manipulate various computer and office equipment.  Hearing to a normal range is also a requirement in order to maintain open communication via phone and in person.
