Who your customers are and how this role matters

Your external customers are our clients, prospects and business community members. Your internal customers will be Principle Auto associates, our vendors and contractors. You'll provide value by treating all customers with the highest sense of integrity, honesty and respect. You will work in partnership with the following associates to ensure their success:

  • Marketing Director: Our Marketing Director is an experienced director with a focus on results. He understands his direct reports perform their best when they are allowed to showcase their creativity in their work. The Marketing Director will work directly with the Event Coordinator to ensure that the events are properly planned and coordinated among the various departments that are involved. The Event Coordinator will communicate regular updates with the Marketing Director to meet budgets and deadlines for all events.

As the Event Coordinator for Principle Auto, you represent the company's commitment to providing Unparalleled Service to our, internal and external, customers. The Event Coordinator will plan and manage multiple events throughout the year including associate recognition events, company outings and various marketing and community events that are hosted by Principle Auto. The Event Coordinator must have an extensive background in large scale event planning and management.

Responsibilities of the Event Coordinator:

  • Develop event plan and strategic plans for various associate appreciation events throughout the year.
  • Source and contract vendors for event and event set up.
  • Coordinate set-up plan leading up to various events throughout the year.
  • Coordinate with internal and external vendors and event staff
  • Create and distribute run of show, event agenda and programs for all interested parties
  • Create graphics, programs and event marketing materials as required
  • Manage venue opening, set up, cleaning and all required services as needed
  • Manage social media for events and postings for CEO and company related to all events and announcements
  • Prepare meeting follow up and surveys for company executives and interested parties

Qualifications of the Event Coordinator:

  • 5+ Years of high level event planning experience required
  • Internal corporate event experience a plus
  • Must be able to work under deadlines
  • Highly proficient computer skills needed with Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • High degree of professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Must be able to provide quick turnaround of unanticipated requests and prioritize and organize workflow to ensure effective and efficient completion of assigned tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain performance in high pressure situations
  • Strong business acumen and judgment necessary
  • Strong interpersonal skills exercising discretion and diplomacy in working with others including all levels of management.
  • Ability to maintain performance in high pressure situations.
